PURPOSE

SOP
(test whiteness, smell, impurity, fineness)
1 Take 10g calcium sulfate, pour it on a piece of A4 paper, judge the whiteness from the appearance;

2 Add 100ml water in a clean 300ml beaker. Pour 10g calcium sulfate in the beaker, rotation the beaker 10 seconds cover with aluminum foil paper (note: the powder in water);

3 Remove the cover and smell the mixture, looking for characteristic smell or bad smell (such as rotten eggs smell, musty, oil, chalk, hot metal);

4 Stir the mixture clockwise evenly with a glass rod, while observation solution surface and the bottom of the beaker is whether exists presence of impurities and foreign body; uniform mixing for 10 seconds clockwise and then immediately stop; observe the layering of the mixture.

CONCLUSION

1Whiteness: the whiteness is higher, the corresponding content is higher. If you want the content is 98%, whiteness must to be 95! The whiteness of qualified product is whiter than A4 printing paper.

2 Smell: the good quality of calcium sulfate solution is no peculiar smell, but the poor quality solution will be like a rotten egg smell, musty, oil, chalk, the peculiar smell of the hot metal.

3 Impurity: the bottom impurity of calcium sulfate solution is less, the content is greater.

4 Fineness: the layered of calcium sulfate solution is slower, the fineness is more fine-grained.
